THE QUIET EDIT

A gentle collection of moments, musings, and curated finds.

Reflection

This week, like many lately, felt a little heavier than usual. The news has been hard to look at, yet harder to look away from, and I found myself needing more intentional pauses just to process the noise of it all. In the middle of the overwhelm, the small things helped—a quick meditation or journaling, stepping outside for fresh air, choosing moments of stillness over constant updates. While these things won’t fix anything, they can soften the edges enough to keep going.

Quiet Moments That Made the Week

A few small things that grounded me:

• A few minutes in the morning to journal before the world woke up. Just 5-10 minutes in the morning to help focus on what is important and prioritize a positive mindset for the day can have a big impact. This journal is my absolute favorite! It is beautifully designed and the daily gratitude prompts help to cultivate a grateful and more positive mindset.

• A long walk with no destination, just the sound of leaves and my own pace.

• Lighting a soft, warm candle during my evening wind-down.

• An unplugged hour to reset my space and mind.

These tiny pauses felt like real nourishment.

What I’m Loving Lately

A curated collection of things I’ve reached for again and again:

• This beautifully simple sweater — soft, neutral, and surprisingly versatile. It is a wool blend and can be worn casually or dressed up.

LaRoche Posay Thermal Spring Water Face Mist adds a moment to hydrate and refresh in my self-care routine and it feels amazing if you put it in the fridge before using.

The Path to Inner Peace: Mastering Mindfulness and Positive Thinking Through Short Zen Stories, a book of 44 Zen stories that’s been reshaping how I approach my daily life.

• This beautifully designed ceramic mug has easily become my go-to mug. It is perfect for morning coffee or tea at the end of the day.

Each one has added a little joy to the everyday.

Curated Home Picks

Pieces that inspired a quiet, early-spring refresh:

Farmhouse Linen Covers for throw pillows have been a cozy and soft addition to my den.

Upwoigh Vintage Ceramic Vase will definitely elevate the look of any room.

• A knitted throw for chilly evenings. I have the multi color light pink and the color and texture are amazing! Understated, grounding, and beautifully textural.

Mindful Style of the Week

My style goal this week was simplicity with subtle structure.

Zeagoo Knitted Turtleneck Sweater — the kind you want to wear every day.

Wide Leg Pants, High Waisted Wide Pants that pair with everything.

Huggie Hoop Earring Set for a barely-there touch of polish at an affordable price.

Quiet basics that elevate without effort.

Slow Ritual of the Week

The “Evening Unwind Reset.”

Just 10 minutes — no phone, no noise.

I dimmed the lights, made a warm cup of chamomile and lavender tea and sat in silence until my breathing found its natural rhythm again.

• This Chamomile and lavender tea is a nicely balanced blend that helps to calm after a long day, without an overwhelming taste

Ultrasonic Aromatherapy Diffuser

It’s a ritual I’ll be keeping.
